Pictures of Paris, France: Street Dancing in the Latin Quarters

Pictures of Paris, France in Latin Quarters

Today, we are starting a photo series on Paris — Pictures of Paris, France. This first set of pictures was shot on a sunny Sunday morning in the Latin Quarters (“Quartier Latin” in the 5th arrondissement) while strolling down Rue Mouffetard to enjoy this old fashion Parisian farmers market — street singing and dancing included, what a joy! We also added a footage of Charles Trénet singing in the street of Paris “La Romance de Paris” (The Romance of Paris). You can see that 70 years later, Parisians still love to dance and sing in the streets of Paris!

Charles Trénet: “La Romance de Paris” (The Romance of Paris)

This video is from the movie “La Romance de Paris” (The Romance of Paris) filmed during the occupation of Paris in 1941. Beautiful slice of Parisian life and of course Charles Trénet’s uplifting singing. Enjoy!
