French women wear perfume as they wear accessories. In fact, there is sense of feeling a bit naked if you leave home without your perfume. I have tried many over the years and my favorite of all time is Paris by Yves Saint Laurent. In fact a few of us wear it at Art of the Home. This makes a great Valentine’s Day gift if the man in your life is looking for ideas…
Now the question is: Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum?
Well, it depends on what you are looking for in a perfume. Eau de Toilette is often more affordable but is less concentrated than an Eau de Parfum. I started with Eau de Toilette but I now wear an Eau de Parfum and I enjoy the change! It’s very versatile and I love how it stays with me all day without being overpowering as a perfume would be. Now, an Eau de Toilette may be more suited for a summer perfume (less heavy on hot summer days) or in an office setting.
Which one do you prefer?

And since next week, we’ll be celebrating LOVE, I’d like to leave you this beautiful quote from Yves Saint Laurent…
“To be beautiful, all a women needs is a black pullover and a black skirt and to be arm in arm with a man she loves”
