Christmas Trees from Saint Modeste, Canada
On Friday February 24th, 2012 (Vendredi 24 Février, 2012), we celebrate the name MODESTE.
Bonne Fête à tous les Modeste
Happy Name’s Day to all the Modeste
Just like Lazare, Modeste is a very old name that was used up to the turn of the 1900 century but is rarely given to baby boys anymore. It literally means “modest”. Saint-Modeste is also a small village in Quebec (less than 1,000 habitants), home of one of the largest Canadian government nursery and well known for the Christmas trees it grows. Saint Modeste is located northeast of Quebec City, the capital Quebec and southeast of Rivière-du-Loup.
